Spin
03:15
|

Our innocence loses hold
To our troubled youth who won’t be controlled
Embracing every word we’re sold
Spun around and left out in the cold
There’s nothing gained in letting go
Of who you are and what you know
Prove yourself to those who never grow
Keep moving, life is spinning and it never seems to slow
A waste of time, I’ve lost this round
My great idea’s in lost and found
Have you ideas on what’s most profound
Are you trying hard but losing ground
There’s nothing gained in letting go
Of who you are and what you know
Prove yourself to those who never grow
Keep moving, life is spinning 'round
Spin me around

Dear God hey man what's going on are you there? Should I take your silence as there's nothing here but air? Am I just too stubborn and unwilling to hear...to give in to something that’s not always clear
I just don't know what to believe anymore. It's not really like I’m even keeping score. At times it seems you're there and at times it seems you're not. I'm so sorry to do this but if you're there you're on the spot
I used to have faith that would rival a child’s, but we both knew I'd grow up after a while. I guess it's in my nature to second guess and wonder was faith in you a childhood blunder
I've had the frame of mind to embrace anything, but in the end what’s the best that could achieve? If this proved to be easy I would feel relieved. All I know is that I want something to believe.
I guess that's all I really had to say. It's funny how many sides I've learned to play. I really can't say if I'm looking for a sign, per se. Who knew believing in you would lead me to another crisis of faith.
This is my letter to God

So Far
04:11
|
|||
I've learned a cold, hard truth
That you reap what you sow
And so far I'm reaping nothing
And how does it feel to have no control
And how does it feel to know you've never grown
And so far I doubt you ever will
If this were another life
I'm sure I'd wish you all the best
But so far I'm feeling nothing
And how does it feel to have no control
And how does it feel to know you'll never grow
And so far I doubt you have the will
And for you, I'd be damned

Goodbye
02:28
|
|||
Wasted time I spent looking into your eyes
Not knowing how to say what was on my mind
How I wish I could understand what you tried to say
But that fell through in your final day
As I see you lying there fighting for each breath of air
I see how much I care
And as the tears cleared their eyes I saw like clear blue skies
And then you died
And I realize that you won’t be there to greet me when I wake
I’ll miss you until the day that I see you again...goodbye
I never told you I loved you and I’m sorry

One and Three
04:59
|
|||
I know you don't care about anyone but yourself
And I know this better than anybody else
Do you think you got me with that hit below the belt
That’s not close to the worst pain I've ever felt
You and me...are one and three of a two-of-a-kind
People may change but odds are you never will
Think life revolves around you but you're only standing still
When you come crashing down, I'll be there greeting you
Watching you struggle with no clue what to do
You and me...are one and three of a two-of-a-kind
You think you’ve beaten me
You think you’ve won
But I’m still fighting here
I’m far from done”

Zombies
04:00
|
|||
Back and forth, they're here again
How on earth did this begin
Life will never be the same
Shotgun in hand, will we survive today?
Zombies are taking over my neighborhood
We need to get out and get supplies
It's too dangerous to simply wait inside
We need to come up with some sort of plan
Too many friends are already damned (dead)
Zombies are taking over my neighborhood
Nothing seems as it should
When zombies are taking over your neighborhood
The situation goes to bad from good
When zombies have taken over your neighborhood
Look out!
Zombies are taking over my neighborhood
Chorus
